Herewith an informative compilation of the bad news for the American side in the Iran war and the good news pertaining to Iranian resilience. Who knows what to believe?

Let’s get down to brass tacks.

This is a one-man show, a presidential war of choice, started by Donald Trump for no legitimate reason. It was initiated without Congressional authorization and with no consultation whatever. And Congress is not really objecting to it now. Why not? 

The only real objections in America came when it appeared that Trump was entering into negations to stop it. Certain members of Congress went into a kind of panic and much of the American media chimed in. Israel was aghast and expressed outrage. It felt betrayed. So Trump jumped back in. 

What was the objective? To stop Iran from developing nuclear weapons? Iran had none. The Iranian religious leader whom Trump and Netanyahu murdered in the opening sneak attack had issued a fatwa years ago outlawing the production and use of such weapons. And U.S. intelligence has repeatedly concluded that Iran was not pursuing an atomic bomb. 

To open the Strait of Ormuz? It was open. Now it is closed, thanks to Trump. What a ridiculous and embarrassing spectacle this is.
