Tomorrow is Pearl Harbor Day, December 7th, the Day of Infamy, as Franklin Roosevelt termed it in his magnificent, histrionic speech before Congress asking for a Declaration of War. 

I have a different take on this important event which kicked the gates wide open for the Imperial Presidency that we endure today. FDR’s speech was play acting, a brilliant and dishonest show.
