Pivot to SE Asia?!

OMG! The Washington Blob's plan is to pivot to SE Asia, as soon as The Blob has rendered the greater Middle East and greater Europa a wreck. Why? The ultimate, stated goal is to confront the “China threat”. Isn’t that presumptuous, not to say ridiculous in the extreme?
China has turned out to be a gift to humanity, especially for the USA, who was China’s benefactor. President Nixon’s visit in 1972 opened China's door to the modern world. Similarly, U.S. Commodore Perry opened Japan to the West in 1853. I’m here to tell you, the “China threat” is bogus, a mirage.
If Washington wants to pivot to SE Asia, fine. But don’t pivot to create more trouble; rather, learn from China (and Japan). The above video would be a start. Or just don’t “pivot” there at all, but hightail it back to the USA instead! Time to put one’s own house in order, don’t you know.
