Why would the latter two take part in any kind of coverup or truncation of the Epstein investigation?  My guess is that the voluminous Epstein files might implicate Trump, even tangentially with unproven accusations, or that the files have in addition a direct link to Israel. 

Of course, Bondi and Patel are devoted to Trump. So why wreck the Trump presidency with a connection, however slight or even substantial, with sleazeball Epstein? It is all water under the bridge. That would be their reasoning.

Moreover, Bondi and Patel like Trump himself, either out of conviction or convenience, are devoted to the Jewish State. It is a fact that Epstein was a close associate of ex Israeli PM Ehud Barak. It is also suggested that Epstein was a Mossad asset or agent. His gal pal and pimp, Ghislaine Maxwell, who will remain in a federal penitentiary for years, is the daughter of Mossad asset Robert Maxwell. 

Remember what President Johnson told somebody (I forget who) when he ordered U.S. air force jets to turn around and not come to the rescue of the USS Liberty when Israel’s jets were desperately trying to sink the ship and kill all its crew? He didn’t want to embarrass “an ally”, to wit, Israel. 

In other words, anything for Israel is justified. Trump, Bondi and Patel do not want to slime the same purported “ally” concurrently as Washington is sending billions out the door to finance Israel's expansion and war crimes. It would be awkward, to say the least, both for the U.S. and Israel.
