David Stockman of the Reagan administration here does a fine job of explaining Iran’s alleged “47-year war on America”. It is little more than an Israeli talking-point delivered to Israel’s echo chamber in the U.S. for the purpose of demonizing Iran and gaslighting Americans. 

The aim is to soften up Americans so that they will accept anything the USG might do in conjunction with Israel to confront, bankrupt and wreck Iran. This campaign has been underway for decades. Trump’s war is the upshot.

The same scenario is true with respect to Iran’s “nuclear ambitions”. We have been inundated with Israeli-inspired propaganda that Iran is working on nuclear weapons to nuke Israel off the map and maybe even America. It ain’t so. And the U.S. intelligence community knows it.

Iran has the right to have a nuclear energy program for peaceful purposes just like any other nation on earth. That is Iran's crime in the eyes of Israel along with Tehran telling the unvarnished truth about Zionism and the plight of the Palestinians. Truth telling is anathema to Tel Aviv.

The next stage is for U.S. ground troops to invade Iran. We are headed pell mell in that direction. The Donald is going to send Americans to the Middle East to die for Israel in an undeclared, unauthorized and unjustifiable war simply because (1) he actually believes the lies above and/or (2) he wants to keep his Israel-first mega-donors and Bibi Netanyahu happy. 

How many Americans and Iranians will get killed in carrying out this insane mission? And how much will it cost the American taxpayer and the world's economy? Time will tell. Meanwhile, the spineless, suborned U.S. Congress sits on its collective hands and does nothing to stop it.
