Herewith an antidote to the disinformation about the joint Tel Aviv/Washington attack on Iran dubbed “Operation Epic Fury”. The interview with Scott Ritter was recorded earlier in the day. In the meantime, Trump and his partner and programmer, Bibi Netanyahu, announced that Iran’s Supreme Leader was killed in a targeted strike. It has been confirmed by Iran. This was a blatant murder, pure and simple. Evidently, the elected civilian President of Iran has survived..

Scott Ritter states in the interview that this decapitation attack failed and hence the objective to destroy the Iranian regime has failed. Scott concludes that the U.S. and Israel have lost the war. He goes on to suggest that in addition to decapitation failure, the U.S. and Israel are going to run out of ammo.

It goes without saying that I’m no expert, but intuitively I would think Iran would run out of ammo first. Ammo here refers to rockets, missiles and drones. If Iranian missile sites are being targeted, they will be degraded and some destroyed.

In short, I’m skeptical about Scott’s assessments, although I entirely agree with him regarding the perfidy of the Trump/Bibi attack which is an act of naked gangsterism. It should be noted that Trump, in his taped announcement justifying the attack, seems to believe the pack of lies contained in the announcement.

That is to say, Trump has been effectively brainwashed and co-opted by Netanyahu and by Netanyahu’s Fifth Column in America euphemistically known at the Israel Lobby. Gullible Americans have likewise been bamboozled.

For Trump's success, everything depends upon an insurrection to topple the regime. I’m certain that Trump has no intention of putting boots on the ground like Bush Jr did in Iraq. Just a non-stop bombing campaign. In this, it is quite similar to Bill Clinton’s attack on Kosovo in 1999 in Operation Allied Force, which according to military historian John Keegan, “proved that a war can be won by air power alone.” I wrote about Kosovo in the first chapter of my book.

The second point I want to make is that Israel cannot be defeated by Iran. Should Tel Aviv be unable at the end of the day to block Iran’s incoming missiles and drones with its “Iron Dome”, Israel can simply turn to its nuclear arsenal. In particular, its fleet of German U-boats offshore Iran which will launch cruise missiles with nuclear warheads into downtown Tehran. 

In short, this predatory war will be a win-win for Netanyahu because Iran will be degraded and wrecked. It will be an utter disgrace and embarrassment for America no matter what happens.
