An especially informative interview with Professor Mearsheimer.

Having failed to bring about a quick victory via murderous decapitation, Trump is now seeking an off-ramp for the war he started with his sidekick, the war criminal and con man extraordinaire, Bibi Netanyahu.

The fear is that Bibi and Donald will double-down on their recklessness and go up the escalation ladder in search of an off-ramp. This is what Mearsheimer thinks. As seen in Gaza and Lebanon and so far in Iran, the Israelis are devoid of any moral compass. They would enjoy flattening Tehran. Their brainwashed supporters and apologists in America would cheer them on.

Still so far no one brings up the fact that Tel Aviv has The Bomb and the means to deliver it via Tomahawks launched from U-boats which Germany has gifted to Israel. The view expressed here and elsewhere is that Israel will run out of defensive missiles before Iran runs out of offensive ammo.

Should that happen, and Iran continues to fire at Israel in retaliation for the sneak attack and murder of their religious leader, it seems to me that Tel Aviv will launch nuclear Tomahawks and kill thousands if not millions of Iranians. This will be the ultimate off-ramp.

Who will be responsible for that? Not the Israelis and their all-powerful lobby in the U.S. Why not? Because they are supremely irresponsible and mentally unbalanced. The U.S. foreign policy establishment and Donald Trump as an individual will be responsible. It will mark the end of the American experiment.
