I think we are going to see a lot of looking back at JCPOA now. The Obama nuclear agreement with Iran. Trump casually tore it up, saying that it was the worse deal he had ever seen. Typical meaningless Trump hyperbole. 

The real problem was that Europe and the U.S. Congress just faintly protested for the record. I don’t recall ex-Prez Obama actually defending the agreement at the time. They all just let Trump act irresponsibly. 

It was what Netanyahu and his minions in the U.S. wanted, so they caved. Trump’s reckless move and Europe’s inaction led to the present unnecessary war over a nuclear weapons program which never existed.
